Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the online school operated by Hariom Yoga Vidya School (“Hariom Online”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account, purchasing a course or otherwise using our platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use our platform. By using it, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and that you will keep it up to date.

2. Your Account

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Accounts are personal to you and may not be shared, sold or transferred. Notify us immediately of any unauthorised use.

3. Courses and Enrollment

Our courses consist of pre-recorded video lessons and related materials. Once you purchase a course, you receive access to its content for your personal, non-commercial learning. Course structure, lessons and included materials may be updated or improved over time.

4. Pricing and Payment

Course prices are listed in US Dollars (USD) and are displayed at checkout. You may pay through PayPal, which charges in USD, or through Razorpay(UPI, cards, netbanking and wallets), which charges the equivalent amount in Indian Rupees (INR) using the school’s published conversion rate. The exact rupee amount is shown before you pay. Applicable platform fees or taxes, if any, are also shown before you pay. We may change prices, conversion rates and offers at any time, but changes do not affect courses you have already purchased.

5. Access

Subject to these Terms and continued availability of the platform, purchased courses remain accessible to you through your account. Access is provided on an “as available” basis and may occasionally be interrupted for maintenance or reasons beyond our control.

6. Refunds

Because our courses are digital products delivered instantly, refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

7. Certificates

Certificates of completion are issued on satisfying a course’s requirements. While we are a Yoga Alliance Registered School (RYS 200), recognition of any certificate by third parties, studios or employers is at their discretion and is not guaranteed by us.

8. Intellectual Property

All course videos, text, graphics, logos and other materials are owned by or licensed to Hariom Yoga Vidya School and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, download (except where a feature expressly allows it), record, redistribute, publicly display, sell or create derivative works from any content without our written permission.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Share your account or course access with others;
• Circumvent security, access controls or payment mechanisms;
• Reproduce or distribute our content outside the platform;
• Upload unlawful, infringing or harmful content (e.g. in reviews or support messages);
• Use the platform in any way that disrupts or harms it or other users.

10. Health Disclaimer

Yoga involves physical activity. Please read our Disclaimer and consult a qualified physician before beginning any practice. You participate at your own risk.

11. Third-Party Services

The platform relies on third-party services (such as PayPal and Razorpay for payments, and cloud hosting for delivery). Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

12. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The platform and content are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hariom Yoga Vidya School shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the course giving rise to the claim.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the platform unlawfully. You may stop using the platform at any time.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Rishikesh/Dehradun, Uttarakhand shall have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rights available to you locally.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
